The 2nd Croatian Food & Wine Festival will be held on April 3-5, 2014 at Arena Zagreb and afford visitors a wonderful opportunity to taste regional specialities. The festival will present Croatia’s gastronomic and oenological legacy through four events: a presentation of food and wine destinations in the form of a cooking show, wine workshops, dessert workshops and the HoReCa program for caterers, hoteliers and food and wine producers. This year’s partner country is Italy. Visitors will be able to taste only premium delicacies: prosciutto, kulen, pasta dishes, honey, liqueurs, brandies, jams, seafood and fish products, dry-cured and smoked meat products, eco-products, baked goods, vegetarian and vegan products and halal foods. All the best Croatian desserts from north to south will be presented as well, including favourites such as flan, macaroni cake, Rab cake, gingerbread cookies, Imotski cake and various raw food treats (www.festivalhraneivina.hr).
