The event is a result of cooperation between local winemakers and restaurateurs who will be offering special menus based on the combination of white truffles and the Momjan muscat (momjanski muškat) during the event. Momjan muscat is a wine boasting golden color, intense fragrance of wild carnations and an exquisite aroma. It excellently complements any meal, thus also the dishes prepared from truffles. This grape variety thrives exclusively in the Momjan area where the event is held.

Conpasta is an international pasta congress featuring 9 lectures and 17 gastro tastings. The congress will bring together participants from 13 European countries. Sabatina 2014 is the 24^th international gathering of grape growers and winemakers. This is the oldest Croatian gathering of winemakers which aims to bring together the leading winemakers from both Croatia and abroad. This three-day event will feature scientific and professional lectures, practical workshops, an exhibition and guided wine tasting, presentation of awards to selected grape growers and winemakers, and a study tour of the vineyards of Konavle and Župa Dubrovačka. The grape growers and winemakers had a difficult year full of challenges, such as frost, hail, lots of rain and not enough sun. This is why this year’s Sabatina is rather impatiently awaited. We are convinced, however, that the hard-working and experienced winemakers have managed to produce top-quality wines despite the difficulties.

The Power of Croatian Food (Snaga hrvatske hrane) is a series of professional roundtables organized by Poslovni dnevnik. During 2013 and 2014, these roundtables became recognized as occasions on which producers, representatives of the relevant state and local institutions and the scientific community meet for the purpose of improving mutual dialogue, promoting new ideas, concepts and proposals with the aim of increasing Croatian food production capacities considered a key precondition for achieving sustainable economic and overall social development in the future. The Power of Croatian Food conference is the main event and the final result of two years of efforts put into building the event into a traditional educational conference gathering all the key stakeholders in the sector of food production and food raw materials.

The theme of this year's event are the dietary habits of children, with a special emphasis on the importance of local and healthy food from the earliest age and during school years. The event will also include a roundtable through which the public will be informed about the results achieved and difficulties that the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Healthy Eating Program in Elementary Schools of the Town of Pula faced during its activities. As in the previous years, the event will feature professional lectures on the topic of traditional and ecological food, and this time the eating habits of children in Istria from the second half of the 20^th century until today will also be discussed, with the aim of presenting how the habits have changed over time and exactly how much attention was paid to healthy eating in the past 60 years. The event will also include a traditional cuisine workshop and a free performance on the topic of healthy eating called Cipolina-birikina performed by the Birikina Association. At the ecological products fair that will gather exhibitors from almost all Croatian regions, the visitors will have a chance to taste, seek advice and buy certified ecological products from the producers themselves.
