The Days of Adriatic squid, which will be held from 1 December 2014 to 6 January 2015, will prove all gourmets that our domestic squid is truly a treat. On December 13, the Westin Hotel will host an international festival of organic wines 'Label Grande Karakterre', which will be held in Ljubljana the day before. Although this is only the third edition of this wine event, Label Grande Karakterre has already established itself as the biggest festival of organic wines in the region of Central and South-Eastern Europe. This year's festival will present more than seventy winemakers from seven countries with more than two hundred wines, which will be available for tasting from 12 (noon) to 7 p.m. These family wineries are oriented to organic wine production in vineyards and cellars with minimal chemical intervention, thus showing great respect and desire to preserve the indigenous grape varieties.
