The 11th Exhibition of Brandies of the County of Zagreb, including an evaluation, and the 12th Agricultural Christmas Fair will be held in Pušća on December 5 and 6, 2015. Every winter a winter festival and a competition in roasting greaves are organized in Karanac. Apart from the best roasted greaves, the largest chunk of bacon is also awarded. In addition to the greaves, salenjaci (filled pastry made with lard), langoške (fried bread dough) and cooked wine, the visitors also have an opportunity to taste various other traditional dishes from Baranya. The event is a true gastro spectacle.

The third region where Špiček’s school is organized is low-land Croatia and the focus is placed on pork sausages. Špiček will teach you how to choose the right meat and the right tools for making sausages and will guide you through various steps of the process.
