This unique festival is held in the salt pan in Nin, one of the few European salt pans where salt is still produced in a traditional way including manual picking and packing. The uniqueness of this festival is reflected in competitions, preparation of ancient and other meals, entertainment program, while salt is the main ingredient of each event. Visitors will have an opportunity to have fun while learning about the benefits of salt, its use in the service of beauty and skin care, and its proper use in cooking.

Krk Fair or Lovrečeva is a historic three-day spectacle with a series of different events on several stages and the rich fair offer. It dates back to 1524 as a fair event at which European traders sold their goods, and it has grown into a real tourist attraction. Prosciutto, cheese, olive oil, wine, lamb and homemade pastašurlice from the island of Krk are only a small fraction of the delicacies that will be offered during this three-day fair. In the Kamplin Square you will be able to embark on a mystical journey into the Middle Ages and the Renaissance under the guidance of the Frankopan dukes, knights, archers, traders from the island of Krk.
