The 4th International Fair of Sausages. The gathering of Istrian sausage producers and a wine tasting exhibition accompanied by a rich program comprised of lectures, presentations and concerts. This year's partner of the event is the Požega - Slavonia County with which Istrians are trying to negotiate long-term cooperation. After protection at the European Union level, demand and export of Istrian prosciutto increased. During 2016/2017 the aim is to provide 5,000 pigs weighing 180-200 kg in the area of Požega-Slavonia County for the production of the aforementioned specialty. The Istrian prosciutto can be produced only from domestic pigs from 12 counties that were designated as a source of raw materials.

The main objectives of this 15th consecutive event have remained the same: promotion and sale of products of the Croatian villages and supplying customers with products that are difficult to obtain. Of course, the culture and tradition of the Croatian countryside was not forgotten. This year, the fair will gather about 300 exhibitors from all Croatian regions and around 30,000 visitors. Admission is free for visitors. In addition to traditional sales exhibitions of food, drinks, handicrafts and souvenirs, the concept ‘Tastes and scents of Croatia’ will be particularly interesting. That part of the event will include the reinterpretations of traditional dishes made of especially valuable local ingredients.

19th Exhibition of extra virgin olive oil which includes tasting of the superior olive oil in combination with Istrian dishes and domestic wines and honey, lectures, presentation of medals to the manufacturers, and, as part of the international art competition Ex tempore, awards are presented to the authors of artworks with the theme of olives.

18th International manifestation of olive tree growers and olive oil producers will take place in the Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa in Bol. The objective of the evaluation and exhibition of olive products is to demonstrate and promote the unlimited possibilities of the use of the fruit, olive tree and olive oil in the production of various products (creams, food products, wood products, souvenirs, etc.). Samples of products made of olives are received and judged in three categories: food products, beauty products and products from olive wood.

The event dedicated to pinca, traditional Istrian Easter cake. This event will remind us of the not-so-long-ago time when the custom of baking pinca had great importance during the celebration of Easter. It is still an integral part of Easter ceremonies, but there are less and less households where this Easter bread is made. All visitors will be able to see what was once on the menu for Easter breakfast. Diligent housewives from all over Istria will exhibit their pince for tasting. By the fireplace they will demonstrate how once pinca was kneaded and baked, and you will be able to buy some Easter food.
